Q: Can I use traditional Estate Agent in conjunction with Moss & Co?
A: It is important that you check the small print in the Estate Agents contract as you may have to pay them their commission in full even if Moss & Co find the buyer.

Q: Can I use Moss & Co if I'm already using an Estate Agent?
A: Absolutely, you’ll almost certainly increase your exposure to potential buyers and improve your chances of selling. It’s also important to remember that you won't pay any commission to us on completion of your sale.

Q: Should I tell my existing Estate Agent?
A: Definitely, it is important that you do this to ensure you avoid the possibility of any misunderstanding over commission when your property is sold. Hopefully it will also give them an incentive to market your property more aggressively.

Q: What else do I get?
A: We print property details and photographs, supply and erect a Sale board, we advertise in all major property websites including rightmove and we advertise in local property press.  We handle all enquiries, distribute property brochures from our town & city centre offices and qualify the status of potential buyers. We then formally instruct your chosen solicitors to act for you and your buyer

Q: Can you value my property?
A: Yes we do free valuations if you’re not sure about the asking price you’re looking for. It is also an opportunity for you to find out more face to face about what Moss & Co can offer.

Q: What are HIPS and do I need one?
A: HIP stands for Home Information Pack. As of the 1st of August 2007, every home put on the market needs a HIP. The pack includes an Energy Performance Certificate containing advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills. Also included are documents such as the Sale Statement, Standard Searches and Evidence of Title. Moss &Co can arrange and organise all this for you so you don’t have to worry about it.

Q: How are you different from other non commission agents?
A: Firstly, we have a prominent shop front location based in Mansfield town centre and Nottingham. We have extensive local market experience due to our sister Company Charles & Co and we have an investor/landlord portfolio of around 500 customers from our lettings company which has been going for over five years.

Q: What is your incentive to sell my property if you aren’t getting any commission once its sold?
A: Moss & Co SOLD board outside your home and your recommendation is worth more to us than any commission. The more people who know about us and use us the better.
